Daily Clarity grew out of my Clinical Psychology Master's dissertation research into a 3 months integrative intervention for Stress and Anxiety.
The original intervention was tested in two pilot cohorts and subsequently refined, based on both the research findings and participant feedback. Completion improved from 10 of 26 participants in the first pilot to 9 of 11 in the second after the program was reshaped.
One of the clearest lessons from the research was, that giving people too many techniques at once, can actually make it harder to choose and practice them.
That's one reason Daily Clarity is built around personal selection, adaptation and ongoing support, rather than simply giving you a large library of techniques and leaving you to work it out yourself.
Participants were measured before the intervention, after the first month, at the end of the 12 weeks, and again three months later, using established self-report measures of Stress, Anxiety and Depression, including DASS-42 and STAI.
The statistical analysis found significant improvements across several of the measured psychological factors. The effect sizes were particularly strong for Stress, State Anxiety and Trait Anxiety.
A new depression Module was added to the practice.
